Holiday Break!

Pictures says it all. Had an enjoyable time with the family and I'm glad we get to spend quality time together. Moments count. Every single one of them.

Graduation Day

Finally! We've got our diplomas! Next up, postgraduate diploma in ultrasonography :)

I couldn't have done it without the support and love of all those around me. Am thankful for each moments and everybody in life that make these moments count.

Season of Goodwill

It's the first Sunday of Advent. Time to reflect on what does Christmas really mean to us (not presents, not decorations, and definitely not Santa Claus!) and start preparing ourselves for the birth of Christ.

This time of the year, my most favourite season of all. If it wasn't for stress of exams and Christmas cantata, I'll be enjoying this season to the max! But oh wells. All things come together in their own good time huh?

How's your preparations for Christmas coming along? Am trying to find simple ways to decorate my room to make it more Christmassy. Would love it if you've any ideas to share. Cheers! :)

Dragon Boat Festival

Every 5th of May in the Lunar Calendar the Chinese celebrates the Dragon Boat Festival. You may or may not have heard about it but to summarize, it is quite a big festival usually where there'd be dragon boat races and making of dumplings. If you're not sure about this, simply go to Google home page and you'll see a cute dragon boat design, click it and you'll find out more! :)

Well as for me today, went around did errands and managed to snap a few pictures and practised my close up shots in between. Celebration of today's fest may be postponed to the weekend for us as by then most of our family members will be here.

Our Anniversary

One thing I know. I'm ever thankful to God for giving me someone special to spend my life with. Life is definitely brighter, more fun, more colourful, and more meaningful with N.

Ups Of The Day

Attended a wedding this morning with N and family. It was a really special and touching moment indeed for the bride and groom as they are both in their mid fifties and their children were present.

When it's time for the bridal bouquet throw, we single ladies lined up behind the bride and waited expectantly. I was urged along with the others to join the fun and imagined my surprise and pleasure when the flower dropped exactly in front of my feet!

According to tradition, the woman who catches the bouquet is said to be the next one to marry. It is surely a pleasant and exciting thought! :)

Another good news is I was asked to play sometimes the organ for mass in church. That is yet another honour to be given!

Lastly but not least, something blue and something new for this happy day.

Today has been a great day. Hope yours will be as well!

Appreciation

Am sorry for the absence lately. Something went wrong with the internet connection and am thankful that it's fixed today. Have come to realize that I've always took something for granted until I realized the value of it after I lost it. Would learn to be grateful and appreciative more.

Easter is coming real fast. How's your preparation for it? After 40 days of penance I'm glad to celebrate the Lord's resurrection.

Friday Fun

Had a bit of fun during our long lunch break (2.5 hrs for Fridays!!!) today. Took a bus went out with a couple of friends and we celebrated a belated birthday. Have always like birthdays. How do you usually celebrate birthdays with your friends or loved ones? :)

Went for Chinese food as our plan A for Korean food failed :(
